Community Mandate


Below is the formal Community Interest Mandate, this mandate has evolved and will be updated formally with the UK Regulator after community the appropriate community engagement.

 

1.Facilitating an infrastructure of transparency over identity management practices which allow for involvement, utilising the subsequent intelligence in the community interest.

  • There are substantial gaps in transparency over the performance management of personal data by Trusted Intermediaries (TI) at this time. This CIC is a direct response to gaps between people and commerce. Identity Trust CIC is intended to provide a trusted company, which will audit the performance in management of personal data and its practices. This community interest company is intended to bridge the gaps between people and commerce with community usable transparency over personal data management practices. A critical and empowering step in an individual/business/communities decision-making process and directly effects privacy and security of the communities that will benefit from these services.

2. Provide education, awareness and services facilitating transparency through profiling and personal information management. 

3. Providing Education & Awareness of Positive Privacy

  • Working with international, national, and local privacy and security efforts this CIC will provide individual centric data management education and awareness. Engender the provision of deep and keen insight into commercial benefits of personal data management practices. Facilitating the community centric and open platform for profiling services.

4. Research & Development

  • It is the expectation for any profits to be reinvested into expanding profiling services. Development will continuously focus on facilitating community interaction with this research through evolving and developing services which a diverse community can utilize.
